In Neverest’s new video for their single The Chase, the band look at long distance love and the trials of maintaining a relationship while separated for weeks on end. Focusing on lead singer Spee Chalkiotis, Spee is in a fictional relationship with an actress, with scenes of her attempting to maneuver through their relationship as things unravel. Shots of the band playing in what looks like a high school cafeteria are inter spliced with the video’s fictional storyline.

Working again with music video director RT!, the band focus their video on the joys and pitfalls of love, this time focusing on what it’s like to maintain the relationship while on tour, a subject matter they no doubt have dealt with themselves. Anyone notice the building behind the fictional music VJ? It looks an awful lot like the building I’m sitting in. Wink wink.

The Chase is part of the band’s debut EP About Us, which was released in 2011.
